One of our regular in-person experience attendees said this to us this week. It reminded us of the imortance of choosing to care for yourself. If you attend our in-person or livestreamed dance experiences, then most likley dance is one of your self-care activities. Does this video make you smile? If so, you're a DANCER!
We'd love to hear how you care for yourself. If you're looking to increase your self-care, ask yourself these questions:
- Which supportive and encouraging people do you choose to spend your time with? How can you add more time with these people to your life?
- What activities do you do on a daily basis to contribute to your well-being? If there are none or too few for your liking, what can you do to add one small activity this week?
- What one thing feels like an unpleasant drain on your energy on a daily basis? Can you think of a way to lessen the time you spend doing that thing, change the way you do it, or get rid of it altogether?
