Flavor Company Dance Cruise - Day 2

Gala night & thoughts on ducks

Today was a sea day as we head south from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera. On our agenda today was an opening session sampler and a night of gala dinner and dancing. Our sampler session included the newly-released Tai Chi Dance & Walking in Flow Motion and the Groove DanceFloor Experience. The gala night was wonderfully fun with delicious food, fun costumes and plenty of dancing!

Today's video is a Dance Party. Dance along with us to join the party.

And now, the promised story about the filiming of this video.... We are a huge dissapointment to the ducks of San Diego.

Wherever we go, we seem to find ducks. I suppose they are used to being fed. So, it's understandable that they might mistake us for the nice people who feed them. Let us describe the encounter that happened prior to shooting this video. For that matter, this is quite representative of our typical duck encounter.

Ducks start out hopeful.

Duck chatter: These people have a wagon and bags. Food usually comes out of bags. Let's get closer and see what they're going to feed us.

But, then skepticism sets in.

Duck chatter: Hey! They have opened their bags and haven't produced one single morsel of food! This stinks. They tricked us!

And, then they spread the word to their duck friends.

Duck chatter: Okay duck friends. See those people over there? It's a trick! They don't have any food. They'll try to take your picture, but no food! Don't do it. Don't go near them. They're con artists!

And so it goes with the San Diego duck population. On the plus side, once they figure out we have no food, they usually leave us some space to dance!
